These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all boarding services provided by Comfy Cat Haven, LLC (“Pet Sitter”) to the client (“Pet Owner”). By booking a stay, the Pet Owner agrees to the following:

Pet Health Requirements

Cats must be in generally good health and not actively ill at the time of drop-off.

Proof of current FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations is required unless a veterinarian provides a written exemption.

Cats must arrive free of fleas or pests. If a flea infestation is identified, the Pet Sitter will quarantine and treat the cat, and the Pet Owner will be responsible for treatment costs for their pet, any affected animals, and any necessary pest control for the premises.

Reservation, Deposit & Payment

A deposit is required to confirm a reservation. The amount will be specified at the time of booking.

The remaining balance is due at the time of drop-off.

No services will be rendered without full payment as outlined.

Care & Services

Boarding services include:

Feeding and changing water

Cleaning litter or elimination areas

Brushing and basic grooming

Medication administration (if applicable)

General tidying of care areas

If insufficient food is provided, the Pet Owner will be responsible for the cost of any replacement food purchased during the stay.

Medical Emergencies

In the event of illness or injury, the Pet Sitter will attempt to contact the Pet Owner or emergency contact. If unreachable, the Pet Sitter is authorized to seek veterinary care as deemed necessary. The Pet Owner is financially responsible for all associated veterinary costs.

Liability

Comfy Cat Haven, LLC is not liable for illness, injury, death, or escape of pets due to pre-existing conditions, natural causes, or events outside of the Pet Sitter’s control.

The Pet Owner agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Comfy Cat Haven, LLC from any costs, claims, or damages arising from the actions of their pet, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct by the Pet Sitter.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made 7 or more days before the stay: Full refund of deposit

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the stay: Deposit is non-refundable

Cancellations after the stay begins: 50% refund of the unused portion

If Comfy Cat Haven cancels: Full refund for any unused portion of the stay

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Abandonment

If a pet is not picked up within 14 days of the scheduled pickup date and there has been no communication from the Pet Owner or emergency contacts, the pet will be considered abandoned. Comfy Cat Haven, LLC reserves the right to rehome the pet, surrender the pet to a rescue, tenance or surrender to a rescue, ensuring compliance with local regulations. The Pet Owner remains responsible for all associated fees.

Photo & Media Release

The Pet Owner grants Comfy Cat Haven, LLC permission to use photos, videos, and other media of their pet for marketing, social media, or promotional purposes, unless otherwise requested in writing.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.

Severability

If any part of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions represent the entire agreement between the Pet Owner and Comfy Cat Haven, LLC. Modifications must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.

By booking a stay, the Pet Owner agrees to the above Terms and Conditions.
